. . .

Show me what I haven't seen
Tell me something I haven't heard
Make me feel like I have never felt
Take me somewhere I have never been

Let's go to a place not there on the map
Let's play a game we have never played
Let's flush out the sorrows of the past
Let's find a way back into happiness

Dream On, Move On ...

Sitting alone on a Saturday night
Contemplating my own plight
A hope that was so strong at once
Now seems to have lost its essence

Tired and jaded I look through the window
Spellbound by this moonlight
I realize I need a break from my life
So, I dust myself off and get outside

In this silence of night I hear sounds
Not sure if its the noise in my head
I chase them, follow them
I know it's not right, but I go on n on

And as I get closer what do I see?
I see myself in front of me
Dancing to the sound of apocalypse
Plucking the strings of hardships
Striking the chords of happiness
Overwhelmed with nothingness

Dazed and amazed by this sight
Now everything appears to be alright
But the cynic in me finds it hard to believe
How could one enjoy so selflessly?

This is nothing but just a delusion
Still sitting alone here in confusion
A hope that was so strong at once
Now seems to have lost its essence
Let The Chips Fall Where They May

I've always been fascinated by Martial Arts. Legends such as Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan have made a great impact on Cinema with their fighting skills. On a long enough timeline new styles emerge based on the ideologies of the existing ones.

Le Parkour or Free running is one such style which is making its way into the mainstream. A few instances of it can be seen in movies like Casino Royale, Live Free or Die Hard and District B-13.

These fearless people termed as crazy by majority risk their lives for their passion.
They have supple and agile bodies toned to perfection by rigorous training. What's more appalling is that inspite of having such rare skills they prefer to remain underground. Names like Dvinsk Clan and Yamikazis are not known to many, but you are sure to be spellbound by their moves. There is no room for mistakes here, 'cause you commit one and it could cost you your life. One thing is for certain that this style has enough potential for a cult following.

Here is an interesting interview of David Belle on Parkour, he states a lot of good points. I would summarize it by saying Parkour is all about the ability to let that which does not matter truly slide.
Succumbed To You

Fresh and restless at the dawn
Numb and dormant at the night
Your grip on me is so tight
I stand no chance in this fight
You manifest in my actions
The juxtaposition of good and evil
Your rich arsenal of chemicals
Set these rapid complex reactions
Rushes is what you want
Pleasure is what I want

Loving you is like loving the ghost
Your nefarious gaze throws me into a maze
Watching me struggle and snuggle in here
And as I try to find my way
You show me directions that lead nowhere
I haven't seen you and don't want to either
'Cause when the time comes
You'll take me away with you, won't you?

But I still adore you
For you are my brain
'N together we are becoming insane
Music Sounds Better With You

Yeah that's right :) There couldn't be a better way to kickstart my blog than talking a bit about my passion for music ! ;D

For as long as I can remember I've been into music. The journey into the world of music has been one helluva ride for me. Back in the 90's the only source for me were the music channels on TV. So, I was hooked to mainstream pop and dancy music.

Its interesting that how my 2 passions, music and internet are linked. Once I had my fingers running through the world of internet I explored a whole a new dimension of music. Styles of music which I never knew existed. Thanks to web spiders like Google I often ended up discovering great music artists. Searching for new artists and styles of music had become another passion for me. Always looking for the kind that was meant for me :P

From the slow luvy duvy pop music to the aggressive metal music, from the electro techno trancy styles to the Industrial Harsh electro styles, from the folk to the ambient, jumpstyle to hardstyle and the list goes on ... Everytime I thought I'd heard it all , I stumbled upon another great style of music.

It wasn't too late before I started writing journals on music album reviews, got in touch with artists around the world and stuff like that.

I think the real fun is when you start exploring and accept the fact that there's a lot we don't know about which is worth devoting some time.

I'm not sure if you have already heard of the Online Social Music Community called Last.fm ... I often recommend it to my friends. There's no better way to get enlightened when it comes to music than being on last.fm. My profile on last.fm is here ... Oh my total number of plays there is going to be 50,000 ! Another milestone ! :D

Alright its weekend time and I got loads of new stuff to check out !
